Juice Madam Privacy Policy
Your privacy is important to us. This policy explains what information Juice Madam ("we", "us") collects through juicemadam.com, why we collect it, who helps us process it, and the choices you have.
We only ask for personal information when we need it to provide something you asked for, and we collect it by fair and lawful means. If you have a question about this policy or about your information, get in touch.
What we collect and why
When you subscribe to the newsletter
We collect your email address and, if you give it, your first name. We use them to send you the newsletter: recipes, giveaways and discounts. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and we stop sending as soon as you use it.
When you contact us
The contact form collects your name, email address, the type of request and your message. It is delivered to our inbox so we can answer you. The website itself does not keep a copy.
Analytics and session recordings
If you allow it (see "Cookies and your choices" below), we use PostHog to understand how the site is used: which pages are viewed, which buttons and links are clicked, the kind of device and browser, the site you came from and your approximate location (country or city, derived from your IP address). PostHog can also record a session, which replays how a page was scrolled and clicked so we can find things that are confusing or broken. Anything you type into a form is masked in these recordings.
Advertising measurement
If you allow it, we use the Meta Pixel. It tells Meta (Facebook and Instagram) that a page was visited and when certain things happen, such as a newsletter sign-up or a click through to our partner's shop. We use this to measure our ads and to show ads to people likely to be interested. Meta may combine it with what it already knows about you if you have an account there, and handles it under its own privacy policy.
Spam protection
Our forms use Cloudflare Turnstile to tell people from automated programs. To do that, Cloudflare processes your IP address and technical details about your browser when you load a page that has a form.
Deciding whether to show the cookie banner
When you first arrive we look up the country your IP address belongs to, using a database on our own server, to decide whether to ask for your consent before any optional cookies are used. The lookup is not stored and your IP address is not sent to anyone for this purpose.
Instagram photos and videos
The home page shows recent photos from our Instagram account. They are loaded from Instagram's servers, so Instagram (Meta) receives your IP address and browser details when that page loads. Videos in articles are loaded from YouTube only after you press play.
Logs and error reports
Like most websites, our server keeps short-lived technical logs (IP address, browser, pages requested) to keep the site secure and working. If a page fails, an error report with technical details may be sent to our error-monitoring service so we can fix it.
Affiliate links
Many links on this site go to our partner Nama (namawell.com). They carry our discount code and a short tag saying which page and button you came from. If you buy through them we may earn a commission, at no extra cost to you. Once you are on Nama's site, Nama's own privacy policy applies. Nama may tell us that a purchase was made with our code so that we can be paid.
Cookies and your choices
Cookies and similar browser storage fall into three groups on this site:
- Essential. Remembering your cookie choice, and the spam protection on our forms. These are always on because the site needs them.
- Analytics and session recordings. PostHog, as described above.
- Advertising. The Meta Pixel, as described above.
If you visit from Europe (the EU and EEA, the UK, Switzerland and neighbouring countries), or if we cannot tell where you are visiting from, nothing in the analytics or advertising groups runs until you say yes in the cookie banner. Elsewhere, both are on by default. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, advertising stays off.
Wherever you are, you can change your choice at any time with the "Cookie settings" link at the bottom of every page.
Who we share information with
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not publish it. We share it only with the service providers that help us run the site, and only as needed for the purposes above:
- Brevo, which stores the newsletter list and delivers our emails and contact-form messages.
- PostHog, for analytics and session recordings.
- Meta, for advertising measurement.
- Cloudflare, for spam protection on forms.
- Our hosting and error-monitoring providers, which run the website.
We may also disclose information when the law requires it.
Some of these providers process information outside your own country, including in the United States and the European Union. Where the law requires safeguards for such transfers, we rely on the ones our providers put in place.
How long we keep it
- Newsletter details: until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them.
- Contact messages: for as long as needed to deal with your request, and then for our records.
- Analytics and recordings: for the retention period set in our analytics account, after which they are deleted.
- Server logs: for a short period, for security.
What we keep, we protect within commercially acceptable means to prevent loss and theft, as well as unauthorized access, disclosure, copying, use or modification.
Your rights
You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, and withdraw a consent you have given (unsubscribing from the newsletter, or switching off analytics and advertising under "Cookie settings"). Depending on where you live, you may have further rights, such as objecting to certain uses, receiving a copy of your information, or complaining to your local data protection authority. To use any of these rights, contact us.
Where the law asks for a legal basis: we rely on your consent for the newsletter, analytics and advertising, and on our legitimate interest in running a secure, working website and answering messages for the rest.
Children
This website is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16.
Other sites
Our website links to sites that we do not operate. We have no control over their content and practices and cannot accept responsibility for their privacy policies.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when our practices change. The date below shows when it was last revised.
This policy is effective as of 3 October 2026.
